About the client
This is a businessman from Qatar who called me in 2018 and got in touch with me. He wanted to make a batch of souvenirs for the Al-Duhail Sports Club.
Al-Duhail SC (Arabic: نادي لخويا), formerly known as Lekhwiya SC, is a sports club based in Doha, Qatar, best known for its football teams competing in Qatar’s star football league.

1. Meet
Ali saw our website on the web and called me directly to tell me he needed to customize a batch of souvenirs for a certain football club. This souvenir box contains a lot of small gifts, including pocket watches, ghutra, wool caps, coloring books, mousepads, puzzles, necklaces, etc., a total of more than a dozen different small gifts.
2 Build trust
He needed our help to customize all the little gifts and put them inside a beautiful gift box. This is a more complex procurement requirement. After we had spent a long time settling the details of each gift with Ali, Ali decided to work with us.
3 Look for similar gifts
Because customers need more than a dozen different gifts, we recommend Ali directly choose to find similar styles of gifts with the same function in the market and then add a logo belonging to the football club. This can reduce a large number of customization fees. And the production cycle will also become shorter.
4 Sample Making
We spent 10 days searching for hundreds of gifts in the Chinese market, and in the end, Ali selected 30 gifts for us to mail to his office in Qatar. After waiting for Ali to determine the final gift, we began to customize the logo on the gift and make samples.
5 Package Design
After Ali approved the samples, we set out to design the gift box. Due to the large variety of gifts and the large size gap, the portability and production cost of the gift box need to be considered, as well as Ali's desire to get a high-end gift and requirements. In the end, we chose an embroidered fabric suitcase as the gift box from five design drafts.
6 Mass production
Finally came the production process, we first arranged all the gifts and production. Then start producing gift boxes, as well as assembling all the gifts into the gift boxes.
7 QC
Before assembling the gift boxes, we conducted a spot check on all the gifts. Under the premise of determining the quality of the gift OK, assemble, pack, and seal the shipping cartons.
8 Shipment
In the end, we helped Ali arrange international shipping.
